Be careful with Vitamin A -- too much is bad for the liver. Better to take it in the form of betacarotine, which will only give as much A as you need and flush the rest. But A isn't the main nutrient for the eye, it's one of many. Again, the eye requires many nutrients. It requires essential fats, it requires colored veggies, especially dark green ones for lutein, the main carotenoid for the eye, it requires just a ton of nutrients. Eat well, eat well-balanced, and eat a lot of colored veggies.
Vitamin A is the vitamin for the eyes... While it haves some other function, it's primary function is for healthy retina.
The body needs vitamins to stay healthy and a varied diets.Basically vitamins come from food everybody knows. There are 13 essential vitamins divided into two groups i.e Fat soluble and Water soluble vitamins. If you smoke or drink heavily, you should either pay special attention to your diet or take a vitamin supplement it is necessary for body. For eyes: Do not rub your eyes. Keep an eye pad made of several layers of gauze for a few hours.
One should blink the eyes at least 10 times in succession, while doing constant work
with eyes, so that the eye muscles get rest.
daily massaging the soles and toes of the foot with mustard oil improves eye sight.
I'd say just google it, but there are so many nutrients involved in proper eye function that list should be extremely long. Lets just take the example of glutathione, the main antioxidant found in the eye (and liver). Glutathione is an amino acid made by other amino acids, which means every time you eat protein you're helping the eye. See what I mean?
