Juices and packaged fruit/veggies

Lately I've been starting to question some of the things I buy.  I started buying Naked 100% fruit juice/smoothies, but as I drink one right now (says it was made with 4 apples) it has 0% of all vitamins (A, C, Calcium, Iron) and 0g of Dietary fiber per serving.  Why is this?  The ingredients are apple juice, apple purree, and natural flavors (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves) I don't understand why it has none of the nutrients that regular apples do? If you don't know what Naked is, it boasts no added sugars, vegan and gluten free, and no preservatives

Also, I notice in packaged spinach and other vegetables that the levels of vitamins differ from brand to brand, yet they are the same fresh product.  Why is this?

First, you have to check the serving size being measured.  They're often quite different.  Apples are not a good source of Vitamin A (which is better taken as beta carotene, which is found in orange colored foods).  Nor are they a good source of C or minerals.  They are a good source of quercitin and many other things.  As for the lack of fiber, if you're eating apples for fiber, it's much better to eat them than to juice them.  Juicers separate the pulp from the juice, so you don't get the fiber.

Alright, I was just wondering why the nutrition info was different from the actual apple, but now i get it.  Are there many antioxidants in apples and other fruits not displayed on the nutrition facts label?

Oh, yeah,  There are thousands of nutrients, but the only ones on the label are the few the government requires.  There's no daily requirement for quercitin on the label, but that's one of the best thing about apples.  Also realize that juice has a lot more sugar in it even if none is added than eating an apple.
