I am concerned about the morning shake I drink.  Am I hurting myself.  I am trying to lose weight so I read about the kitchen sink.  Is there anything I should add or subtract?  How many ounce should I drink?  Currently I drink 20 oz.  Here is the ingredience:  1 teaspoon of fish oil, 2 tablespoons hemp seed, 2 tablespoons flax, 2 tablespoon fine oatmeal, quarter cup sunflower seeds, 1 TSP chia seeds, kale, arugula, baby spinach, whey protein, 1 TSP bee pollen, half teaspoon of ginger, 3 large strawberries, handful of blueberries, handful of raspberries, half a banana, almond milk, and then I mix it in my nutriblast.

Whether or not this helps you lose weight is dependent on your individual digestive system and nutritional needs, what else you're eating through the day, how much exercise you're getting, etc.  Now, most almond milk products are very high in sugar, so you might want to check that unless you're making your own, and some people don't do well on dairy products like whey, but assuming none of this is a big problem that's a pretty healthful shake for most people.  But while shakes are great, is this something you want to continue for the rest of your life, or do you want to go back to eating?  The best way to lose weight is to permanently change your diet, not do something temporarily and then return to eating what got you where you don't want to be.  But again, this is a pretty sound shake health wise.  Make sure as much of it as possible is organically grown, and make sure your fish oil is from a really good company that uses clean fish.
