What does the table refer to ?

Hi everyone , i don't know if it's silly or not .. But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol !
Thank you .

Hello Susie, Now I don't have a box of rice in front of me! but I recall it would state the serving size as cooked. as for the nutrition well some sodium and
potassium but that's it.

Okey :D thanks
I was confused because when you cook rice it increases the weight , if you have 90g it will be like 200g !  Lol
Thank youu :)

Well, the nutrition content of rice depends on whether it's white rice or brown rice, but rice contains a lot of nutrients other than just sodium and potassium, so I hope I misunderstood you there.

Nutrition facts are based on the cooked product unless it specifies otherwise. And always on the recommended directions, so obviously if you make a change in ingredients it will change the nutrition. Does that make sense?

All what you said makes sens
Appreciate your answer
But you see here's the thing .. Let's say i have a box of white rice that says "nutrition facts for 100g" doesn't precise weather it's 100 g cooked or not
And i measur 100g of uncooked rice and boil it, when i measur it again after been cooked it's somewhere between 300 and 387 g
If i take 100 g of the cooked product, i will still have 200g, .
Now, is the "cooked 100g " the one that the table talked about ?
(Since the dry product increased weight after boiling and i split it)
I hope i explained it good, thank you .
