Will i gain weight again?

Before i had my son my normal weight was 135 pounds. After my son was born i weighed 180 pounds.I recently started taking phentermine for weight loss but i read that i can gain the weight back because my body will try to gain its normal weight back. My question is will my body feel safe at 140 pounds or will it try to recover the 180 pounds i had weighed? Also i would like to know if there is any chance of me gaining weight while taking phentermine? I follow a low carb diet but i have not seen fast results.

Did you just have your baby and are you breastfeeding? If you just had your baby, your body has to adjust to not having the baby. If you are breast feeding your body will naturally lose weight slowly, however, you want to consume enough daily calories for you and the baby as when you were pregnant. If you are not breast feeding you will lose the weight because you are caring for a child if you go back to healthy eating prior to the pregnancy. Suggest exercising with the baby which is to go for walks with the baby in the stroller. You lose weight from walking and baby gets fresh air. I do not recommend weight loss medication due to the medical side effects. Wish you the best.

Take an Omega 3 supplement and Evening Primrose Oil every day!

I read somewhere that if you are not getting enough EFAs (essential fatty acids), meaning Omega 3's, that your brain will continue to send signals to keep eating, looking for those EFA's because the brain really needs them.

For me that has turned out to be true! I started taking Udos oil (Omega 3-6-9) in a smoothie every morning and lo and behold, my desire to snack and drink alcohol have all but vanished, it is awesome! I am not a huge drinker, but seemed to always want that one cooler while making supper. Also, I am feeling way calmer and less stressed, and as you know, you need all the nerves you can get when your children are little (and high pitched!) As a bonus, any money I am spending on the supplements is more than made up in the snack food and coolers I am not buying! Good Luck
