diet during pregnancy

I know it is advised that during a pregnancy is not the time to diet or lose weight. I'm not necessarily interested in losing weight but this is my forth pregnancy and my last three ive gained 100+  pounds no matter how hard I tried not to. Ive lost it each time and right now I weigh 135 lbs. I'd like to take one oxy elite pro per day to keep my weight gain within the normal range for someone my size. It does have caffeine in it but its only 100 mgs which the current recommendation for pregnancy is not to exceed 200mgs in a day. There are other natural ingredients in this supplement that help boost t3 and T4 but there's no actual hormone replacement perse...there is also hoodia which helps with appetite. As long as I'm gaining a normal amount of weight and baby if getting nourishment is there a risk of the supplement itself??  Does this sound like something that has or will cause any birth defects or abnormalities? This company is reputable for using high quality ingredients and its over the counter..

NO, Dont ever try any diet pills during your pregnancy, it is highly dangerous as your baby may get affected by this pills, so waiting for few months after delivery, you can lose your weight.

I do not recommend any form of diet pills especially if you are pregnant. Increase your daily intake an additional 300 calories for the health of you and your baby. For example, if you are normally consuming 1800 calories + 300=2100 calories daily. This way you increase to the recommended weight gain of 25-35lbs but not gain 100+lbs. Exercising during your pregnancy would help keep your body toned, too. Hoped this helped you.
