help please

hello

I recently lost about 9 or 10kg while I was travelling overseas. This was mainly due to increase in exercise, not a great deal of money for food and I cut down heavily on what I ate. I bascially just had fruit and vegetables or soup. When I returned to my family and home I suddenly had such a huge appetite that I pretty much over ate a lot of the time. This uncontrollable eating has been horrible because I try not to and then I will limit myself but then when I come home and open the pantry I seem to just go for the convient things or will indulge in something not very nutritious. Therefore I have put back on the 10kg and 5kg more. This is really very painful for me because it happened so fast and I just want it to stop but each time I try to eat well and I always go to the gym I just cannot stay consistent. I live with my family so they buy whatever they want whereas it would be easier if I lived on my own b/c then I could choose carefully the right types of food and not be seduced by others. What should I do to lose the 15kg properly? I know that my body has a lot of fat on it now which is so unhealthy and a lot harder to burn off all those fat cells. What do you suggest I should do to target the fat areas on my body such as love handles, hips, lower tummy, arms, thighs? It's very depressing and half the time I just want to hide from the world. I have struggled with weight a lot and need to know how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and how best to lose and deflat all these fat cells. Thank you and I hope you will reply. If you could tell me which foods I should have and which I should avoid for weight loss and then which fat burning activities will produce the best results. Thank you.

Please forgive me; I did not see your answer from my question. You are only about10-12kg overweight for your height. You are young and the easiest way is loss weight is to increase your physical activities. It is recommended to exercise 1/2 hour or more each day. As you loss weight, I suggest you measure your waist and not look at the scale. Muscle weights more then fat and as you build muscle it may not show weight loss.
The foods you eat should come from all the food groups including multi grains, fruits and vegetables. Portion control is important and here some general tips = ½ cup for all starches and vegetables; one piece of fruit or ½ cup of small fruits; 1 cup for low fat dairy products, and only 3oz of low fat meat a meal (only 6ozs total a day). To help eat less pre meal is to eat about 10 almonds, 20 minutes before lunch and dinner so you will feel full faster and not eat as much food.
Weight loss can be a slow process but the slower you loss, the higher chance it will stay off. Think of this new way of eating as your new healthy lifestyle and not as a diet. That will help you to keep your weight off and keep your body healthy. Hope this helps!

hi Renee,
I was wondering if you were able to help me with the previous concern I have mentioned to you above. I just need assistance in weight loss and knowing how I can overcome sugar cravings and binging. Basically the best way to reduce fat cells and burn off all the fat. Are their certain vegetables or fruits etc that would aid this fat burning process? Thanks

If you  are otherwise healthy and cleared by your doctor to do so, building up to an exercise routine of at least 4-5 hours total a week  and eating a healthy balance of foods (calories appropriate to your needs) is the best way to lose weight.
Lean muscle weighs more than fat and you may lose more inches than pounds.

Thank you for reply. I am 19, 5"2 and weigh 62 kg. I use to be about 48kg and would like to return to that weight.
This is really an embarrasing and sensitive issue however, I am so eager to find out how I can effectively lose 15-17kg. I look forward to your guidance and suggestions. Thanks
