Please forgive me; I did not see your answer from my question. You are only about10-12kg overweight for your height. You are young and the easiest way is loss weight is to increase your physical activities. It is recommended to exercise 1/2 hour or more each day. As you loss weight, I suggest you measure your waist and not look at the scale. Muscle weights more then fat and as you build muscle it may not show weight loss.
The foods you eat should come from all the food groups including multi grains, fruits and vegetables. Portion control is important and here some general tips = ½ cup for all starches and vegetables; one piece of fruit or ½ cup of small fruits; 1 cup for low fat dairy products, and only 3oz of low fat meat a meal (only 6ozs total a day). To help eat less pre meal is to eat about 10 almonds, 20 minutes before lunch and dinner so you will feel full faster and not eat as much food.
Weight loss can be a slow process but the slower you loss, the higher chance it will stay off. Think of this new way of eating as your new healthy lifestyle and not as a diet. That will help you to keep your weight off and keep your body healthy. Hope this helps!
hi Renee,
I was wondering if you were able to help me with the previous concern I have mentioned to you above. I just need assistance in weight loss and knowing how I can overcome sugar cravings and binging. Basically the best way to reduce fat cells and burn off all the fat. Are their certain vegetables or fruits etc that would aid this fat burning process? Thanks
If you are otherwise healthy and cleared by your doctor to do so, building up to an exercise routine of at least 4-5 hours total a week and eating a healthy balance of foods (calories appropriate to your needs) is the best way to lose weight.
Lean muscle weighs more than fat and you may lose more inches than pounds.
Thank you for reply. I am 19, 5"2 and weigh 62 kg. I use to be about 48kg and would like to return to that weight.
This is really an embarrasing and sensitive issue however, I am so eager to find out how I can effectively lose 15-17kg. I look forward to your guidance and suggestions. Thanks
Would you please tell me your age (if under 18 years old), weight (in Kg or lbs.), and height so I can better assess your concerns. Thank you
