You are not consuming enough food / nutrients for your body. As you lack nutrition, you will loss hair. The minimum calorie intake for the body to not go into malnutrition is 1200 calories. Suggest you increase your calorie intake to 1500 calories per day.
no, probable 800cal day, but i am comsuming protein in place of carbs.
You stated you are on a low carb diet. Are you eating protein in place of the carbs and maintaining an intake of 1500 calories per day? Besides genetic, loss of hair is either not enough protein or not enough calories to maintain your body. If that is not the case, then see your MD and get blood work done to see if there is a decrease of any other nutrients and be treated properly. If you are not eating properly due to the dieting then suggest you consume 1500 calories daily with protein sources (meat, dairy, egg). Thank you for your question.
