?'s about vitamins

Hi, I've just recently gotten back into taking vitamins ( taking better care of myself). My question: is it best to take vitamins all at once (after breakfast, w/ H20), or is it best to take a few at a time, say over the course of a few hours after light snacks? Is it safe to take them all at once, or more beneficial to space them out throughout the a.m. hours?
Thanks in advance, for any advice!

Some forms are more correlated with energy than others.  TM is the big one for energy, but probably not the best for spiritual growth.  But any regular practice should give you a boost.

Thanks for the suggestions; in fact I'm headed over to the health food store in just a bit ~ I've used Spirulina in the past (really liked it!), but never have tried bee pollen, or wheat grass, I'll def. check into both.
I use meditation for my anxiety, never knew it could help w/ energy levels (?) ~ I'll give it a try :)

I'd try taking some wheat grass or spirulina or bee pollen -- they are extremely nutrient dense and a small amount goes a long way to increasing energy.  Meditation can also give you the boost you're used to from caffeine.

Thank you for all of the info, I appreciate the input. I've definitely learned a few things :)
Recently I've cut way back on my caffeine (coffee), I used to drink 2 cups in the a.m., 2 cups at noon, and now I depend on the vitamins and early a.m. exercise to give me the boost I need. I do miss coffee, but not the crash...

It depends on what you're taking.  Many people call supplements vitamins that aren't vitamins but something else.  As Gym mentions above, it depends on the supplement as to whether it's best taken with food or not, and the form of the vitamin has a lot to do with how well it's absorbed as well -- for example, the above mentions B12, which comes in different forms and some are better absorbed than others even if they're sublingual.  Vitamin C mentioned above is one best taken with food, and again, the form is very important -- it's not so much whether it's cystalline or not, it's the form.  It just depends.

Some are water soluble vitamins and fat soluble vitamins. So you take either with food and water or just water.

A lot depends upon how the vitamins are packaged. Vitamin C is best ingested in the crystaline form. B-12 in sublingual tablets. A problem exists with vitamins in slow-release tablets. They can lay against the intestinal wall and cause erosion. Capsules are best and take a lot of fluid and some food..
