Hello and hope you are doing well.
There are chances of failure in any method. A tubal ligation can fail anytime either soon after the procedure or even after 10 years. It all depends on the type of sterilization procedure and the skill of the surgeon performing the procedure if there will be any failure. If tubal ligated women become pregnant there is an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy which can be dangerous for the mother and baby. Have you missed your periods? It is best to take up blood HCG test for determining whether you are pregnant or not. It is more specific and reliable test for diagnosing pregnancy. Consult a gynecologist. Keep me posted.
Best wishes and regards!
Hi I would like to know if you are pregnant?
I had my tubes tied about 9 months ago (not sure which procedure) and my periods have been regular since but now I'm a week late! My hpt was negative.
I'm really freaking out here!
