undercooked pork
Hi. Im 38 weeks pregnant. Husband and i went to a friends house for dinner. The pork chops they served us were very very undercooked. We both ate them anyway to not be rude. What can happen to us?
Did the friend use a thermometer? Internal temp. must be at least 145 degrees plus a 3 minute rest period.
You can't know the doneness of cooked pork by its color. Even very pink pork can be safe! But GROUND PORK needs to be 160 degrees. As does beef.
