warm sensation in face

I have been getting an icy hot sensation down the side of my face. It is momentary, and isolated to my left side. I also have had a sudden change in my sense of taste which has caused loss of appetite. Could these symptoms be some kind of vitamin deficiency?

I don't want to lead you in the wrong direction,
because your body is - your body (!) but I have had your experience. The sensation traveled to my whole face, then
even my teeth hurt! I lost 10 lbs. from not having an appetite. Then , I had a smashing headache, went to the ER, they couldn't find anything neurological, and it was later declared to be
a viral infection, that I just got through on my own. So, IF you have tests done, and they do not find anything, hang in there,
and feed your immune system .

I would get a neurological exam done right away. It could be numerous things from anxiety to a brain tumor or Bells Palsy.

Anyway I am not quallifed so go to your GP and see what he thinks.

They could be problems with your neurological setup.  Ie your brain.
Go see your doc.
