weight gain

My doctor says I've gained too much weight, but I don't feel like I'm over eating. Should I be worried and if so how can I control my weight gain

Also try some diet plan. If you ask me i would suggest fruits diet with natural nutritional supplements. As fruits diet is one of the best diet to reduce all your fat. and if you have some natural supplements with that it will help you maintain your health and energy.

reduce your diet intake by 500 calories and increase your CV workout by 500 calories about an hour at mild intensity will give you a calorie deficit of 1000 calories a day this will equate to around 2lb of fat every week.

Do some mild exercise or yoga and follow a good diet plan without any fatty foods. Have a discussion with your doctor about how much weight is normal for your height and try to fit in that weight.

You are about 20-15lbs overweight depending on your bone structure for your height. You did not state your age, however, women who are 50+ tend to gain weight due to the hormonal changes in their bodies. You need daily approximately 1800 calories (2000 calories if you are in your twenties). Increasing your physical activities will help you lose weight. You only need >1/2 hour a day and that can be broken up throughout the day. For example, park your car in the back of the parking lot and walk to the store. That will give you additional walking. The foods you eat should come from all the food groups’ multi-grains, fruits, vegetables, and dairy / meat. Portion control is important and here some general tips = ½ cup for all starches and vegetables; one piece of fruit or ½ cup of small fruits; 1 cup for low fat dairy products, and only 3oz of low fat meat or protein substitution a meal (only 6ozs total a day). To help eat less food per meal, eat about 7-10 almonds, 20 minutes before lunch and dinner so you will feel full faster and not eat as much food.  Do not be discouraged, weight loss can be a slow process but the slower you loss, the higher chance it will stay off. Think of this new way of eating as your new healthy lifestyle and not as a diet. Hoped this helped you.
