OCD (mostly) gone and brain fog?

Hi! For the past 3-5 months I have been battling brain fog. It all started while I was on vacation (mostly spent it browsing the internet). I remember waking up one morning and feeling "different". My OCD had mostly disappeared at that time, only some reminiscent behaviors remained. I simply no longer had the urge to do compulsions. But there was one problem, I had brain fog, I simply couldn't think like usually. I've also developed problems with language, I couldn't speak as eloquently as before and it took me some time to recall words. I mainly felt scared because the brain fog is still in effect. I wanted to ask you if this has ever happened to you? Will my OCD come back? I hope it will because this brain fog is terrible. Also sleep deprivation helps somewhat, I start doing compulsions again and my thinking is more like before.

I experience brain fog when my anxiety is really high, and last time it took me about 7/8 months to get rid off it. It eventually goes away on its own, but I think medication makes it go away a lot faster.

Hi there.  I cannot say that I have experienced brain fog.  I'm not sure what that would feel like.  I take it you have been officially diangosed with OCD.  Can you contact your counselor if you have seen one in the past?
