Mentally hurting my dearones in OCD
Does one feel like mentally hurting someone, especially family members during OCD?
I always think my kids are going to get hurt anywhere really. I worry about alot . I have nightmares of them being hurt and bloody, but i dont want to hurt them, I dont hurt them, you should see a doctor for this if u love urself and ur family dear.
I too have heard it comes with OCD. I had a lot of thoughts regarding someone getting hurt while in my care or me being around them. I was able to trace some of my feelings regarding this and discovered it was more about my self-esteem and not wanting responsibility. All this can get quite deep.
It is common with some OCD disorders but people usually do not act upon those urges.
