My daughter is showing weird and frightening symptoms.

I have a 14 year old daughter and I am scared because I need to know if she has OCD or any other Mental problem, She is obsessed with calling the police she is so obsessed with them she has to see them in her mind and when they arrive she makes them stay longer because she obsesses with the things they carry like hand cuffs she will hold them looking so amaized and she will hold it for a long time, she also is obsessed with cleaning like if the house is a little messy she'll argue and be all depressed and tell you constantly to clean up, also she won't let you touch her or anything of hers unless you wash your hands infront of her, she says she finds it hard to do bassic tasks e.g hoovering or washing up and her sleep is really bad it takes her 3 hours to fal asleep and she'll have a 5 hour sleep then she'll wake up again, her teacher sat down with her and asked what is wrong because she noticed aswell It took the teacher 4 days to finally get a story. This is what the teacher told me. Aimee feels aso she is being controlled by somebody like the aliens or god she aslo hears voices at night saying random things and sometimes telling her what to do, Aimee is feeling like she is on a special mission and God is making her the special one as she is different to her other brothers and sisters, Aimee see's things moving when they're not and sometimes she'll see random things once in a while. Aimee telld her teacher that she is too paranoid to be outside sometimes. Also her head tells her to hurt herself or others or even kill others or herself Is there any awnser or Mental condition my daughter has?

I am concerned that you have not taken your daughter to a mental health professional yet, it sounds like this has been going on for awhile.  This is concerning, especially if her teachers are noticing the strange behavior.  This almost sounds more than just OCD, and I think you should have your daughter evaluated asap.  You need to be proactive with your daughter and her health, this is your responsibility as a parent.

Not to scare you, but it almost sounds a little bit like schizophrenia. I agree with pooty335, you definitely need to get her into a mental health professional ASAP. The behavior you're describing is definitely more then OCD and you need to get her help before anything gets worse. The fact that she's having thoughts about hurting herself or others, or killing herself is very serious and she needs to talk to someone. There are a lot of treatment options out there for all types of mental disorders, but she needs to get diagnosed first by a professional.

I agree with WendyLady03, this does sound like Schizophrenia. The word sounds scary but it is treatable and people do get better. You do need to get your daughter to a mental health professional to get a correct dianoses.
Best of luck to you both!
