i have a obsessive compulsive disorder from 7 years but i was finding my ocd from last 2 years and took medicatio......i have a obsession of repeat activity (like in office i type something again and again,i check which i write again and again,check mail again and again),, sexual thoughts, violence thoughts and everyday i struggle for doing basic things what should i do??????? at present i take medicine flunil-40 and flunil-60 as per my psychiatrist consult...

hi jay , i am also from india, my symptoms are almost like you, i am taking medicines from last  6 months but my symptoms are almost in control, because i have done self therapy in addition to medicines , i have taken help from the book "Overcoming Obsessive Thoughts: How to Gain Control of Your OCD" by Purdon and Clark. this book focuses mainly on pure o ocd .

Hi Jay.  Here in the states what you are taking is called Prozac.  So by what you are writing I am assuming that your doctor upped your dosage from 40 mg to 60 mg?  If so, how long ago was that?  Also, did you ever learn cognitive behavioral therapy or did you just go straight to medication?
