Here is the link. Remember we are not alone. A lot of people suffer from hiv anxiety.
No thnaks. I too suffer from the same fear and am coping with it day by day. It started in february and i am gradually getting better. Its a mental illness not a hiv infection. I come here to learn a more about ocd instead of hiv. Because ocd is my problem just like yours with the what ifs and scenarios we make up. You should also check body.com it has a lot of information about transmission. If you learn it then it wont be that scary. Its good to be cautious but overcautious cab be harmfull to yourself. Anyway its a good thing you posted in thus forum. You are acknowledging that it is ur mind instead of hiv that is your problem.
i know it is very difficult to convince your mind and throw away all irrational fear over logics when you are afraid of something deeply.i am trying my level best from overcoming from this incident.i will always remember your kind words and advice throughout my life.thanks a lot.may god bless you .
Its not possible to be pricked and not notice it. You arr just like me affraid of getting hiv so your mind is tellibg you that it is blood from someone else that is hiv +. And that you got pricked and that there was blood inserted in you right. Well the chances of that happening are zero. Because youre not sure if it was someone elses blood or yours and most people dobt have hiv. Plus youre not sure u got pricked as you didnt even have a mark. And on top of that if it was hiv blood it would have died immediately when it is exposed to air. Your brain is just making things up. Hiv is not your problem but your brain is.
