Could OCD over illness cause false symptoms that appear real?

I feel horrible and am insanely distressed about my health, yet all docors found nothing wrong with me.

I just feel their investigations have been shallow, but apparently I suffer from OCD.

Could I be producing my own symptoms?

Sense of respiratory constriction, pain in the neck and ears, muscle and joint aches.

my psychiatrist has told me repeatedly that ocd can feel real. its a good phrase to repeat to yourself when your obsessive thoughts keep trying to rationalize themselves in your head. It feels real but in order to fight it you cnt give in and let it fool you. when i did it led me to severe depression, you have to keep reminding yourself, or if it helps more, get someone else to constantly remind you that what your mind is telling you isnt true, but rather a symptom of ocd. be strong and dont let it get you down!

Absolutely, the mind is a very powerful thing. Very very capable of producing physical things that aren't there, its mainly in your head.
