Inositol for OCD

Thank you!  will do.  Some of the differences I have noticed is decreased urgency to tell my husband about triggers and the ability to have a trigger and sort of shrug it off easier.  So that is good.  I will let you know where I am in a month or so.  Maybe others will consider it.  Chat with their dr. first if on meds. but I got so tired of how I felt on zoloft.

I have been on inositol for about 4 weeks and I am still slowly increasing the dosage.  At the same time I weaned off zoloft.  I think it is helping!  My frequency and duration of OCD triggers is diminished.  I will be curious to see how I do in a few more weeks.  I am using 100% pure Inositol from Source Naturals, which I got online from Swanson Vitamins.

while going off zoloft and increasing inositol I had a lot of dizziness and fatigue but that seems to be subsiding.

I used inositol for several months after reading the scientific article suggesting inositol was found to be as effective as SSRIs. Unfortunately, inositol was not effective in my case and it ended up costing more than the pharmaceuticals.
