Medication from General Practitioner instead of psych

Hi I've had OCD for over 2 years. I used to be on anafranil (100mg), but I was stubborn and stopped taking it it. I was wondering if I could get a refill from my general practitioner at all because the anxiety has been taking a physical toll on me and I'm having terrible digestive problems all the time.

Thanks

depends what country you are in, in Aust if you are on a mental health plan and you have a relationship with you GP who does updates to the plan, they can give you a refill, mine does.

It depends. Some will. But usually only a psychiatrist will prescribe psychiatric medication.
