Thanks for the help. It will be hard, but I will follow your advice.
Guess it is not going to work. So you can search for articles with the following names for your parents to read.
Parenting a Child with OCD
Helping a Child Who Has OCD
For Families with Children who have OCD
OCD and the Family: A Guide for Parents
There are a lot of articles out there.
the *** is the word ************. I am not sure why this forum is not allowing the sites.
I'm sorry but honestly, if my child was suffering and they didn't tell me, I would feel horrible. I am sure your parents feel the same about you. I'm not diagnosing you but it sounds like you do need to talk to a professional, get it all out there, and let them make the diagnosis. What you cannot do, once you do see someone, is hold back. Just remember this, you cannot surprise a therapist. They have heard it all before and then some and trust me I went in there with some really bizarre thoughts and they didn't even blink.

So, you think I do have it, I was hoping I didn't , this ought to be an interesting discussion with my parents
Hi there. While I know you don't want to talk to your parents about this, you really need to. The reason I say this is because it is very difficult to get over this type of thinking without professional help. You need to see a child psychologist that teaches cognitive behavioral therapy. The sooner the better because as you get older and more stressors happen in your life, OCD can get a bit rough. It is good to have the tools under your belt to help yourself.
