is poking myself with paper considered as an illness?

back when I was a kid, around 4 yrs old till I reached the age of 14, I kept on poking myself with my blanket ( I make it pointy as possible so I can poke it to myself).
and by the age of 19 from blanket to paper, so, am I suffering from OCD or some other kind of illness?

P.s I poke my eyes or palm most of the time, I get really irritated if I'm not poking it.

I have not heard of this.  Is it a compulsion then?  Is it triggered by anything?  Worse at certain times than others?  Don't your eyes hurt when you poke them?

it stings a little, but for some reason it's relaxing on my part. though its quite alarming at some point.
Well, it's up to you.  If it bugs you, then give it up.  If not, poke away.  good luck
