time obsession

I really need help to understand why im so obsessed with having a schedule and sticking to it. It's starting to effect my relationship with fiance, who is constantly late or leaving things til last minute. I get really up tight about being told things last minute and can't handle it very well. I hate people being late and leaving me waiting as i am so impatient. Is it due to the fact that i have had to wait for people my whole life? When i was young i remember waiting 2hrs until someone picked me up, and an ex left me waiting for 5 hrs on valentines. Help me understand why im like this please. :'(

Only a psychiatrist could say for sure whether its ocd or not. OCD is treatable with medication and cognitive behavioral therapy so it might be worth speaking to a psychiatrist to find out as it depends on how it impacts on your life as a whole.
