baby teeth growth after birth

Do baby teeth grow in size after birth?   Is whatever size the baby teeth are at eruption the same size until they are replaced by permanent teeth.      Do the baby teeth actually grow in size during the baby growth?   I was told the baby teeth are what size they are at initial eruption and do not grow in size at all.

You did not answer my question,   Simply put, do baby teeth grow in size after they emerge in the baby's mouth?  Bones grow larger, legs grow longer and larger, head sizes grow larger, jaws grow larger and ears grow, etc.  -- but once the baby teeth come in, are they the same size forever as when they first came in, or do they become larger after emerging?  You know - grow in size?

A tooth typically completes its full eruption within 3 months provided there is enough space.  A tooth can become impacted if it's eruption is blocked.

If you have any doubts about the size, location and eruption pattern for your child you should take him/her to a dentist that treats children.

I recommend that kids have their first dental visit upon the eruption of their first teeth or by 1 yr whatever occurs first.  This gets the child accustomed to dental exams and allows the dentist to identify any potential problem early.
