orthopedics disabilty conditions

do hard impact contact to the ground in 5 or 6 different areas of the body ,cause changes that later turn painful ,cronic , such as parachute landing ,feet knee ,arm, shoulder in the military they teach you to land with least amount of trama to the body , this was not allways easy to do and i feel the injurys way after the service, cervical ,and lumbar and knee problems all extremly painfull and seem to be worse each year?

Thank you  for your responding  Doctor, I am going for surgury consult 5/16 with a top orthopedic,after review of a lower joint mri showing damage to knee.  gcg

Hi there!

Yes, repetitive traumatic contact may cause chronic degenerative changes, depending on the extent, severity and location of the traumatic injury. It is also possible for the symptoms to be unrelated to the trauma. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
