Broken rib hearing weird sounds

Hello, I fell on my rib directly under my left breast about 5 days ago, the first couple days I could barely walk but its been getting a bit better the problem is ever since it has happened there has been a strange bubbling sound under the spot every once in a while sounds like stomach indigestion but I've never had it that high up I'm worried organ or something might have got damaged, I figure if it did get hurt too bad I would get sick or something but if you think I have a serious reason to go get checked out let me know, I just have broke ribs before and there was nothing the doctor could do for me. I also have juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and am 25 years old.

I'm tempted to say you're crazy if you don't get it checked but I have to remember that I'm in the UK where even though our health system is falling apart because our right wing government is selling it off, it is still free even if you  have to wait four hours or more in A&E (accident and emergency = the emergency room), but what would it cost to get an x-ray in Las Vegas if you don't have insurance?

I'm presuming you don't have insurance to cover it? Else why would you hesitate? I'm not a doctor but I know enough about anatomy from six months of massage training to know that our bodies can do all sorts of weird and not wonderful things that sound too incredible to be true but are true.

My advice is if you can't afford to get it x-rayed unless you really think it is a matter of life or death and have to choose between getting it checked and eating this month,  find an older pharmacist and pick their brain because they're often exceptionally knowledgeable. Here in the UK, about five or maybe eight years ago, examination booths started appearing in pharmacies and now it's fairly standard when you have a simple medical query to ask a senior pharmacist. I know this isn't exactly decent medical advice but it just might be something that otherwise would not occur to you if it's simply not something that happens in the US.
