Can Cubital Tunnel Syndrome Cause Burning?

For the past week I have had a tingling and numbness that goes from my left elbow down to the outer edge of my hand and pinky finger.  However, this has now been increased by a burning sensation.  Kind of like a cross between a sunburn and bruise feeling...even brushing against the hair on my forearm causes the burning.

Is this a symptom of cubital tunnel syndrome?  Are there ways to stop it without surgery?

I would appreciate any help you can give.

As someone who has put up with nerve entrapment for over 4 years (I finally found a doctor who would listen to me.) If there is a nerve entrapped in cubital tunnel syndrome then you could very well have all those symptoms. If you want to avoid surgery I recommend that you try both physical therapy and good chiropractor.

I hope this helps,
