Can anyone help (Bruised knuckles and hand)

Right I've had bruised knuckles since June time, they haven't faded bu august then i punched something else but this time they're a little darker. Then 2 days ago i was bmxing and i was sitting there on my bike and my wheel turned and i slipped then out of anger of slipping off of my bike i punched a aluminum plate on the side of a jump and since then my knuckles have been really sore and the right of my thumb is causing me really bad pain. Its got past the stage where i feel i need to cry, its at the point where i laugh about it because its hurting so much. It starting playing up seriously at college while doing written work. Could i of cracked the bone? Just bare in mind that the bruises havent gone since June!! My hand is swollen and paler then my left and.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
And yes i know i need to stop punching things :)

Thanks,
Benjamin.

Thank, i've got some pain killers as it was causing me pain this morning when i woke up. I also got a support bandage for it which is helping a little. I've been taking extra care of it trying not to use to much.

Thank you very much for you advice.

Hello StressedInsomniac,

I suggest that you need to take extra care for your knucles. Apply some cold cream or an antiseptic ointment.
Take anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs like diclofenac and ibuprofen for better pain management.
