Can't rotate left arm!

Hello, I'm a long time member here at Med-help.

For sometime now, I have been unable to rotate my left arm backwards when its in a elevated position. I don't know if this is a shoulder, muscle or nerve issue. I also have chronic scapular and rib pain on the same side. To complicate matters, I have serious neck problems and have had 2 ACDFs.

Is this being caused by my neck or is it simply a frozen shoulder issue, any thoughts?

Hi there!

you may have torn your rotator cuff very easy to do, or you pulled your shoulder out of its socket. I would suggest seeing an orthopedic for proper mangement and care.

Hope this helps take care!
