Chronic Pain in bone over right hip

My wife who is 32 years old fell down and the corner of a table hit her over right hip near backbone .This happened about 10 years ago and she has been suffering pain since.Initially doctors diagnosed minor crack in bone. The pain increases when she has periods and sometimes pain is unbearable with movement.Doctors only prescribe multivitamims when consulted. What should be done in this regard ?.

I would get her dr to do a mri. It sounds as if she could have developed a problem with her disk. There is a chart on my profile that shows nerve conduction and it may be helpful. If the dr does do test remember mri's are better at showing soft tissue ct scans are better with harder things. Best of luck to you both, Sissie

The doctor prescribes only vitamins -- what kind of doc is this? Man, I'd be out the door to a new doc in a flash.
