First degree burns

Had patellar tendon repair go right knee. I changed dressing on pod 3. Noticed burn blister unbroken size of quarter on inner and outer sides of the vertical incision. Turned to blood blister on dressing change on pod 5. It's drying up and healing well. Surgeon did not know cause. Any other cases with similar occurrence?  Appreciate other comments, it is a recovery period and will go my first PT today.

Thanks for comment. Blisters healed. PT going well. Slow process but compliant to my plan. Using the same dressing and tape and no other reaction.

Yeah, a reaction to the dressing. Have them use hypoallergenic tape/dressings.
