Going from NHS to Private to take care of an injury

I injured my left ankle while playing squash in Feb 2015. Went to A&E and the nurse told me its a fracture. Can't remember exactly specifically what fracture.

1 week later I go to the orthopedic department and the Doctor tells me its not a fracture and just some ligament tear. So I had an MRI scan done and I never got the results back. They kept on delaying the appointment, 4 months I believe and I ended up forgetting the actual date of the appointment. So they discharged me and 12 months later (FEB 2016) i felt confident enough to start playing sports again.

December 2016, I start feeling pain again so I go back to the orthopedics department and they tell me to get a CT scan done.

January 20th 2017 the doctor advises me to take a cortisone shot on my ankle joint.

I couldn't walk for 3 weeks and the inflammation pain still hasn't completely gone. It's made my pain much much worse and I can no longer walk for longer than 10-15 minutes.

So my appointment with the doctor was supposed to be on the 22nd of March. I went to the hospital only to find out theres another hospital 30 minutes away with a very similar name and thats where my appointment is. The receptionist told me to book another appointment and thats on the 2nd of May. I can no longer wait that long...

I'm tired of the NHS and i want to get this fixed asap. What are my options of going private?
