Horrible burning/stabbing sensation in feet

Hello, I'm 20 yrs old and have been suffering with severe pain in my legs for a few months now. I have been to the foot doctor, and have been diagnosed with flat feet, over pronation, and Plantar fasciitis. He said, however, that he doesn't think that's what is causing the problem. I'm worried since the pain keeps getting worse, and makes me really sick to my stomach. The pain goes through my toes across the top and bottom of my feet into my ankles. The worst area is right on top of my left foot, above my ankle, but below my shin bone.

The pain is a horrible burning/stabbing sensation, which feels like someone is taking a knife and carving my insides out. :(

Please help! I can't stand this much longer!!!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a physical examination and probably a few tests it would be difficult to point the cause of the pain. A few possibilities may include fractures, muscular dystrophies, nerve pressure/ impingement, tendonitis, arthritis, bursitis, fascitis etc. It would be best to get this evaluated by an orthopedician for diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
