I have had tension headaches my lower neck has been uncomfortably tightness.

It feels like my whole neck is tight and my right scm gets sharp pains. I have seen a orthopedic doctor twice and a neurologist. It’s been almost 4 months and I have very little relief. I have no true dx only what I think may be my trapezius muscle has a injury. CT showed no deformities. I have been taking aleeve twice a day pretty steady. I’m out of ideas for relief. Stretching, chiropractor and dry needling has been my treatment.

Sorry about this situation.  I've had neck ache from whiplash and headaches chronically as well too.  So, what about a physical therapist?  I found them to be quite knowledgeable.  I saw one for a while.  I worked on all the things they normally do but they made a big deal about icing it as well. I also got a device for about 3 months that was an electrical pulse.  It had two nodes and I'd lay with it attached sending the pulses for like 20 minutes.  It does something to the nerves.  I rented it and I would say it helped--  again, through the physical therapist office.  What helped me though the absolute most is medical massage.  I went to someone who just focused on my injury and would 'release' the muscles.  It didn't necessarily feel good or bad at the time but was amazing from the standpoint of recovery.  Look for this kind of massage therapist to help you.
