It has been two weeks since I had my cast take off of my wrist. Why can't I move it?

I broke my wrist in a snowboarding accident two days after Christmas last year. It turned out that I broke the distal end of my radius and the break was considered to be a colles fracture because of the way that it broke. I had a cast on for 6 weeks. When it was removed the Orthopedic surgeon said that the bone was completely healed. I have been trying to do a variety of exercises to get movement back in my wrist and have gotten minimal movement back. It has been two weeks with the cast off and I am getting concerned. I still have a considerably amount of pain when trying to move my wrist. I am currently able move all of my fingers, make a fist, and squeeze. I am able to move my wrist side to side as well and flip my wrist over. When it comes to moving my wrist back, I am able to only get it about a quarter of the way back compared to my other wrist. Moving my wrist down is where I am concerned. In comparison to my other wrist I am only able to get it about 25 degrees down compared to the full 90 degrees that I can do with my other wrist. Are there any suggestions that can be made as to what I should do or what may be wrong? I am trying each day to work on moving my wrist down but it just feels stuck and starts to hurt. Any suggestions or help is extremely appreciated. Thank you.
