Knee clicking

I have been active in outdoor sports specially football,
From months im feeling stiff knee specially my left one. There is a click sound when i bend my legs more than 90 degrees and while i squat, there is no pain or swelling or anything. after one squat when i loosen my knees , there is no clicking in the next squat.

I can jump, runn, bend , run , play , hop as normal but clicking sound is awkward .

Please analyse and answer to full detail, thanks

tear in the meniscus is the commonest reason for clicking in knee.you better get MRI of your knee to confirm the diagnosis and then onlyplan the line of management.
