Hello!

To add on to Dr Sylvester, I would suggest you to calculate your present BMI.

What is your present weight and height? Is it in normal range?

If it is less or more than the required values of BMI you would need to build on to come to normal BMI. Visit a dietician to make you a neat diet chart predominantly on proteins.

Eggs, milk, dairy products, soya, fish, meat, are rich in proteins and all foods which are predominantly with these products will help you a lot.

Forearms can be increased by muscle building, I would also suggest you to meet a good trainer in your city and work on weights.  Buy some dumbbells which you can help you at home.

If you suspect any abnormality visit an orthopedician for examination.

Take care!

I take sufficient amounts of both veg&non-veg proteins. I feel absolutely no problem with my nutrition. I follow required dietary allowance. I've been to gym for 6 months, but it makes no use. I think interosseous space is less. If it is the case, what do you suggest me to do?

Hi Vineeth,
Well it’s just that your build like that. Probably your basal metabolic rate i.e. BMR is higher and usual so you tend to metabolize energy at much faster rate than usual. You must consider yourself lucky that you have a higher BMR than usual. Which mean you have a kind of a superior metabolic capacity.
If you do want to gain some muscles you should probably join a gym on weight gaining program which would really help you put on some mass and muscles.
Please do not resort to medication or supplements without seeing a physician. Many of the products available do have side-effects too. You can probably start on natural food with high calorie or protein content and see if that helps.
If you have any further queries do get in touch with me.
Regards,
Dr Sylvester
