Left leg gives...with pain in low back and leg

Recently I was diagnoses with recondaric bursitis (bursitis of the hip) received a steroid injection in the hip and sent to physical therapy. The next day in PT the therapist noticed right away that my left leg was ove an inch longer than my right. This was the cause of the injury to the bursa but what caused the pelvis to tilt so much has not been determined, nor even considered for diagnosis. Here I am four months down the road and while my hip feels much better my left leg has a tendancy to give out on me without warning. This happened two days ago when I was out walking in the yard, on uneven ground. After the fall my low back began to hurt terribly along with my pelvis and left thigh (front of thigh mostly). Well I'm starting back into PT for the forth time today but doubtful this will help.
Anyone else had a similar experience?

When you see the doctor be sure to ask for a MRI of your back this sounds like sciatica and you could have a pinched nerve or disc issues.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Likely possibilities that may need to be considered are dislocations/ subluxations, injuries tears to the labrum/ ligaments/ tendons, fractures, growths/ masses etc aside the inflammation. I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
