Leg aches

Ok I don't even know where to start, since the end of Aug 07 I have been experiencing constant aches and mild pain in my legs, mostly from the knee down. I have been in and out of my doctors office for months now and my doctor doesn't seem to think its anything to worry about. I have days I don't feel a thing and days where my legs ache, never know when its going to happen. This just came out of know where, I don't exercise, I do go for walks, plus have 3 kids who keep me on my feet most of the day. This is what I have been experiencing, and let me just say its now all at once, mild pain in my knees, sometimes heavy stiff like feeling, occasional pain in my heels and feet, mostly aches  in my legs between my knees and feet, i haven't had any leg or muscle cramps. The first time I went to my doctor they said it was most likely bad circulation in my legs, but if so how long does this last, its not severe pain but its so frustrating because i have thought that i have the worse such as blood clots, MS, arthritis, so on. I have had anxiety over this and have also had panic attacks thinking and fearing the worst but my doctor just looks at me and says there is nothing wrong with me I just stress to much. I have another appt in May and I want her to test me for arthritis, it runs in my family, My mother has rheumatoid arthritis and her levels are really high right now. I see what RA has done to her so if i have it I want to find out early on, Can someone please tell me what this could be, I find it weird how one day i have pain in one leg and not the other, and its mostly from the knee down.

Thanks I will definitly bring that up to my doctor, also I am not overweight, I am 5'2 and weigh 120 lbs, pretty small.I had an MRI done July 1st, 2007 and they said everything looked fine. Like I said its not everyday thing but I really need to know what it is, I get so scared whatever it is will get worse, I am only 29 yrs old and I still go about my daily routines.

Hello dear,

You should certainly go for a RA test as it is in your family and I would also advice you to go in for radiographs of your knee and heel region to rule out any pathological cause.
If you are obese then try to reduce which may help you.
Also if all the above is fine go in for a MRI to rule out any cause in your brain and spine.
Taking stress would not help but deteriote your condition further ,so be cool and try to find the underneath reason for your problem.
All the best
