I have had an MRI of my cervical spine and these are the findings; Borderline anterolisthesis of C3 on C4 is present. From C4 down to C7 multi-level degenerative disc disease is present with multi-level posterior disc protrusions with accompanying osteophyte formation which results in bilateral foraminal narrowing and indentation of the thecal sac at the disc levels from C4 down to C7. The foraminal narrowing is most severe on the left at C5/C6 and most severe on the right at C5/C6 and C6/C7 although moderate to severe foraminal stenosis is also present bilaterally at C4/C5 and on the left at C6/C7. These changes could result in multi-level radiculopathy involving the C5, C6, and C7 nerve roots. Indentation of the thecal sac is minimal at C4/C5 but moderate to severe at C5/C6 with narrowing of the AP mid sagittal diameter of the spinal canal to approx. 7mm with flattening of the spinal cord compatible with spinal stenosis without myelomalacia. The C5/C6 posterior osteocartilaginous bar is most pronounced in a right posterolateral position resulting in right lateral recess and the most likely level of radiculopathy is involving the right C6 nerve root due to lateral recess and foraminal stenosis due to disc osteophyte complex.. Milder indentation of the thecal sac at C6/C7 due to broad-based disc protrusion is present without spinal stenosis. From C7 down to T4 the intervertebral neural foramina and intervertebral discs are well preserved without spinal stenosis or nerve root compression. Mild multi-level disc bulging is present with minimal indentation of the thecal sac.
What does this mean? I took 6 months off of work to rest and go for therapy. I did have some relief with therapy, I do not take any medication. The symptoms that I feel are constant headache, neck shoulder arm pain numbness and weakness in my hands right worse than left. I also have numbness in my right bicep muscle. Would tingling in my feet be related to my neck? I have not be referred to any specialist and am not much of a complainer. I'm back at work, I do a lot of reading and computer work, and my symptoms are back . Just looking for some advice. I am a 48 year old woman
