Posterior Clavicle dislocation???

Is anybody familiar with this problem? My 14 year old son suffered this in a wrestling tournament and I do not know if he can compete again. He has been told bu one specialist that he can come back in 3 months and by another specialist that he needs to retire to avoid risk of another similar injury.

Very rare injury, desperately looking for input form anyone who has knowledge of this.

I hope that you have got some answeres from someone and that the situation have got better for your son. It seems that not a lot can be done for the ligament laxity thats left after a dislocation in this area but I have heard that some are getting really good results with prolotherapy for other injuries. I had a dislocated sterno-manubrial joint which has affected my SC joint amongst other things and once my chest settles into a 'new normal' I will be pursuing prolotherapy for myself.
