Pro Bono help for knee and hip problems

How can I find help for my younger brother.  The company he worked  just went out of business.  He is homeless and out of work.  He came to my house hoping to be able to find work with his hip and knees such a mess I don't know how he will fins anything until he addresses his health issues first>  He has been told he needs both knees and a Hip replacement.  He attempted to apply for medicaid however they want all the personal infformation of his family members he is a very proud person and does not want to ask any of us to be responsible for any thing.  Please he is in so much pain is there anyone or any teaching hospital that would work with him he is only 50yrs old he has worked long and hard all his adult life.  He formerly was an electrician and I suppose that has contributed to the condition his body is in today.  I would like to thank you in advance for any help you can give us........................

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Dear Mocha09,

Please use search engines on internet which are of great help, write to them by e-mail and call their phone nos.

In Long island there are lot of nursing colleges where you will get information about the nearest orthopedic facilities where they take patients for free. Try to get some contacts or contact your family doctor who will show you the way. Egs: long island University, New York College, Stony Brook School etc etal.

Take care!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Dear Mocha09,

Hello!

Try to convince him that he has to come out of this mess and addressing his medical problems are his priority. Try to convince him for the medical aid which you discuss with him and alternatively put his case in any medical school who take up these cases occasionally.

Take care!
