Intercourse after hip labrum repair/fai surgery

Hello

I am a 26 year old male who is 5 weeks out of hip surgery for labral repair and fai. I was wondering when it is safe to have intercourse again and if so what restrictions do you recommend. I am currently full weight bearing and am going to pt 3 times a week.

Hi!
If you are bearing full weight, then partner on top position can be adopted. You should avoid excessive flexion, abduction and rotation of hips. However, since I cannot assess your improvement levels of PT, it is best to ask your doctor regarding this.
