Rotator Cuff

I aggravated an old problem and was wondering what the recommended treatment is now regarding ice and heat?

Hi.

Could you be more specific regarding your "old problem"? Did you experience a rotator cuff injury or tear?

The basic guidelines on ice and heat for injury is that if there is swelling and redness (erythema) ice or cold packs should be applied, while if the swelling and redness resolves, heat can be applied for around 15 minutes per application to prevent burns.
