SI Joint Fusion (Both Sides), possible screw misplacement

I have had both SI Joints fused within the last month, and am having severe neve pain on my left side.  It is like sciatic pain, and the top of my foot on the "small toe" side is numb and itches.  I am having very bad spasms in my my hip that travel down my hamstring.

I had an EMG last week, and the neurologist said I have a "severe pinched nerve" at the S1 area.  Could this be related to the screw placement?  The screws on the left side look nothing like the right side, and they look awful close to my nerve root.  I am at a loss.

This is the last x-ray I have had of my pelvis.

Did you have the S.I. alignment corrected prior to the fusion? Gainesville Physical Therapy in Georgia  specializes in this. We go into the surgical room and align the SI prior to fusion.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

This may or may not have occurred due to the surgical fusion. I would suggest considering an evaluation by your treating orthopedician for a possible review and suggestion of an appropriate management plan at this time.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
