Sports Injurty

Hi. I recently suffered and injury to my Briachialis (outside just above the forearm) I had visited an orthopedic specialist and had an MRI done. The results back back negative. Meaning no visible tears in the muscle fiber. However the area that was bothering me has gone soft and almost spongy. Almost like it's unreasponsive. I'm extremely curious as I cannot find any answers. Hoping someone might have an idea of what's going on. Thanks!
