Wrist Pain

3 years ago during PE in elementary school my class was playing a game called moss ball (much like dodge ball). I was tripped and fell straight into a wall. I het the wall and bent my right wrist backwards followed my chest causing me to have trouble breathing for several seconds. I did not fell any pain at first, but an hour later I did. About one year later I was taken for an x-ray, but it turned up negative for broken bones. I have been having sever wrist pain around the left side of my right wrist ever sense. It hurts most when pressure is applied or with over use (such as to much writing which is not good because every day I go to school and spend at least 3 hour straight writing) but a lot of the time it just hurts.

I have seen at least 15 different doctors and they have all come up with there own ideas of what it may be and they sent me off for testing. I've had several x-rays and MRIs, a bone scan, some sort of freezing shot (which just made it worse), an arthritis doctor and I have another MRI booked and most likely a scope, but not for at least 12 months.

I have become so fed up with this wrist pain. I used to be a gymnast and did many competitions, as well as volleyball, but sadly I can no longer.

If anyone can help me to figure out whats wrong it would be much appreciated!

Hi Bubble, i would suggest having your parents look for a really good orthopedic hand doctor,  this is a doctor that only treats people with problems with there hand and wrist.  I'm sure the hand doctor will want to see any previous MRI'S or X-RAYS but he will also recommend you get new x-rays or MRI unless they were within the last month or so.  I could be possible you broke your hand and it healed wrong because you didn't gp the doctor right away.  good luck and i pray your pain goes away    regards  Phill
