back-disk issues

I had c-3-7 caged in three surgeries.  If I had to do it again I wouldn't.  My back now needs surgery--no way am I going through that again.  Two of the later surgeries were done emergency-If I only had not had the first!!!  Please check out your surgeon.  My first was done by an over-confident ortho., without much training.  My advise is to never mess with the spine. I pray this helps someone else, and they do not have to live with extreme pain for the rest of their lives.  I used to run about 5-10 miles a day.  Those days are forever gone.

Thank you for responding.  Funny you mention swimming! I find the best relief when in the water,  I was a state champion swimmer in Ga back in the 70's, so I am more comfortable in the water than on land.  God Bless you
