back problem

I have had back pain for a few months and recently had a MRI which showed the following.
L4/5 slight broad buldge disc small projection seen indenting the thecal sac arising form the facet joint displaces the S1 nerve. root withn the thecal sac. which is likely to compromise the  left transitting L5. nerve root.
At L5/s1 degenerate disc with broad disc bulge. some csf noted extending into the perinerural sleeve of the S2 nerve root. incidental tarlov cysts noted s1/s2
There is odema within the superior articular facet of the lft L5 vertebra with odema in the corresponding articulating facet L4 the small bone projection seen at 4/5 may represent an avul;sion injury no pars defect

I am in consent pain and awiting referral what do make of this

I really do not know what the problem is as they told me I have a slipped disc and generic disc disease. I am awaiting spinal clinic referral from the hospital,I have alot of pain though. I have had physio and the outcome was the same.

I made out that you had a displaced nerve and a bulging disc.  Are they referring you to pain management or to an orthopedist?
